Dry bushes, leafless trees, clouds floating in the blue sky. It's winter in Ladakh.
It also mean the schools are closed and the kids have plenty of time to kill.
It was a day in late November, most of which I spent exploring the Indus riverside of Thiksey village with a bunch of kids. Kind of reminded me of my own childhood, how me and my friends used to explore the wilderness around, looking for birds, playing in the bushes.
On that day in Thiksey I felt the kind of closeness we had with nature back in those day. It was amazing!
